Unfortunately, my experience at Guest House Arco Dei Tolomei was clouded by several issues. The room we stayed in looked quite old and had a noticeable mustiness that made it uncomfortable. Additionally, the shower was in a poor state and hardly had hot water, leaving us feeling a bit chilly. The overall atmosphere of the place felt odd since it was almost empty, which made it less inviting and friendly than I had hoped.

The location is excellent, allowing easy access to major attractions, and I enjoyed the community breakfast with other guests. However, the bathroom could use some cleaning as it had mildew, and we had issues with a non-functioning TV. Make sure to communicate directly with the host about any specific room needs before arrival.

Each morning was a highlight, as breakfast was served in the living room, creating a warm atmosphere where I met interesting people. The location was fantastic. it was close enough to major attractions with Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Navona just a short walk away. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to explore Rome on foot!

It was an excellent fit for a short break in Rome with high value for money. The breakfast selection was delightful and always had something new to try. Try to walk around in the evening. the atmosphere is incredible.

I stayed for 3 nights in a Standard Double Room and the decor was charming with quirky antiques. The private terrace was an awesome perk for morning sun. However, I wasn’t thrilled about the shower spilling water everywhere, which was kind of a hassle. Overall, it was cozy and inviting despite a few quirks. Just be careful in the shower!
